Nevítenáhodou jakym prográmkem ripnu svoje dvd ve formatu obrazu 2.35:1 na format 16:9 ?? jelikož moje televize nepodporuje přepínaní formátu a na dvd se obraz roztáhne nahoru. Jak víte obraz 2.35:1 Im considering getting the LG 32GK850G (16:9 QHD VA) or waiting for the LG 34GK950G (21:9 QHD IPS). I really like the sound of the 32" 16:9 one, and being VA it should look great with horror games. If it matters, I mostly play single-player FPS and adventure type games. Recently: Grim Dawn, Soma, Witcher 3, Far Cry 4, Prey, Doom, etc.

Whatis the difference between a 4:3 projection screen and a 16:9 projection screen? If your projector is mostly used to watch DVDs, buy a 16:9 screen. Now 90% of DVD video is 16:9 picture. Although there are a lot of 2.35:1, but if the subtitle area is included, it needs 16:9 to be fully displayed.

Mostaction movies are 2.39:1 whereas most dramas are 1.85:1 which is still wider than 1.78:1 aka 16:9. 16:9 is of course for regular TV and video games. 16:9 basically isn't used in commercial theaters except for the local ads before the real projector fires up. Biggest 16:9 you can fit then DIY masking panels.

43 is 1.33, it means it is 1.33 times wider than it is tall. 16/9 is 1.78, it means it is 1.78 times wider than it is tall. Old CRT displays were 4:3, kinda squarish looking. Most new monitors are 16:9 -- roughly approximating the standard movie ratio (which I believe is actually 1.85, and of course 2.35 is another common ratio, especially for LCeyS7Z.
