Right now, it seems par for the course. Under normal circumstances, it can take 2-3 business days to hear back. But now you have loads of people trying to return to the game and locked out of accounts for various reasons, so the ticket load is insanely high. Not much you can do but wait for them to get to you, sadly. should I re-submit the ticket?

The Retrieve password option does NOT require you to fill in a charactername. Only if you can't use the normal option AND need to contact support bout it, you are asked bout a charactername. In those questions you can leave blank the quostions you are unable to answer.

Because of that I couldn't reset my password. I just got one of my friends to go online and check what the new character was called. I guess that doesn't really help since you're character hasn't been online in ages. I'm sure if you explain what happened to ANet they could reset your password for you. Edit: lol, never mind.

I was trying to log into the forum from my phone like usual, but said password was incorrect. So I tried to reset password, and the email never gets sent. I put in a ticket, and was talking to support in the email service, and they retried sending the reset email, and it still never came, I double checked junk folder and nothing.
